Real Celebrations, Real Stories — October’s Standout Moments 💖

Violet’s 10th Birthday – Alexandra Hills

Violet hit double digits with a party that was all about colour, sparkle, and fun! Her family transformed the carport into a disco party zone, complete with our rose gold shimmer wall, glowing Happy Birthday neon sign, and a vibrant blue and violet balloon garland. To make it extra special, Mum hired the slushie machine with fruit tingle and sour apple flavours, which was a total hit with the kids. Violet’s sister stole the show playing bartender behind the crate bar, serving up slushies like a pro while the music kept the dance floor alive. It was the perfect way to celebrate a milestone birthday filled with laughter, music, and endless party vibes 🎶🎂.

🎓 Denise’s Graduation – Yarrabilba

Graduation is a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, and Denise’s celebration sparkled with style and pride. Her big sister pulled together a setup that oozed class, with a silver shimmer wall as the backdrop, a cream, white and silver balloon garland, and striking light-up numbers for the perfect photos. Guests loved the personalised board which gave the event an extra meaningful touch, while Denise shone in front of the camera with her family cheering her on. The night was filled with congratulations, hugs, and plenty of snapshots to capture this huge achievement — we couldn’t be prouder to help make it unforgettable 🎓✨.

💎 Layton Vision Foundation Gala – Herston

The annual charity gala hosted by the Layton Vision Foundation was an evening of elegance and purpose. Michelle, the mastermind organiser, pulled together a spectacular event to raise funds for blindness research. The venue was glowing with beautifully dressed tables, and we added our silver shimmer wall to elevate the photo space into something truly glamorous. Guests mingled, laughed, and posed for photos knowing their presence was contributing to a bigger cause. Nights like this remind us of the power of community — and we’re already looking forward to next year’s event 💙🌟.

🖤 Claudia’s 18th – Loganholme

Claudia’s 18th birthday was one of those milestone parties that you never forget! Her Mum went all out, booking the circle backdrop with a glowing Happy 18th neon sign and a luxe black, gold and white balloon garland that looked stunning in photos. To keep the energy flowing, we brought in glow cocktail tables for bar leaners, plus extra seating so everyone could relax between dance sessions. With fire pits warming up the outdoor space and the garage turned into a full-blown DJ dance floor, the party had the perfect mix of cosy and high-energy vibes. Claudia’s entrance was electric, and the night rolled on with friends and family celebrating this huge life milestone 🎉🔥.

❤️ Chrissy’s MS Fundraiser

Chrissy’s annual MS fundraiser is always close to the heart, and this year’s event proved once again how powerful community spirit can be. Guests arrived dressed to the nines in their best 70s disco outfits, from oversized sunnies and bell bottoms to glittering flower crowns 🌸🕺. To keep everyone refreshed, she hired our slushie machine, while we donated our photo booth with the disco backdrop to help lock in those unforgettable snaps. DJ Vella spun the perfect soundtrack while auctions kicked off, raising crucial funds for MS research. Even when the rain tried to interrupt, everyone pitched in to save the party — and when the skies cleared, the dance floor lit up again. A truly inspiring night of music, generosity, and unity 💃❤️.

🌹 Linell’s 40th – Nudgee

Turning 40 is no small milestone, and Linell celebrated in full force! We set up the rose gold shimmer wall paired with the glowing Forty neon sign to create the ultimate photo backdrop where friends lined up for selfies all night long 📸✨. Linell’s energy was unstoppable — she laughed, danced, and partied hard with her guests well into the night. Even more impressive, she was up bright and early the next morning tidying up like an absolute legend. Welcome to the fabulous forties, Linell — if the first night is anything to go by, this decade is going to be unforgettable 🎂🥂.

✈️ Vanessa’s Family Farewell – Alexandra Hills

Saying goodbye isn’t easy, but Vanessa organised a farewell that shimmered with love and golden vibes. She chose our gold shimmer wall as the centrepiece, and paired it with her own balloon garland creation that looked stunning in photos. Friends and family gathered to share laughs, hugs, and well wishes, sending her sister off on her overseas adventure in true style. The golden backdrop not only made for incredible memories but also symbolised the warmth and shine of the moment 💛🌏.

🎃 SweetAz Co. Halloween Launch Party – Redlands

We closed out the month with our very own Halloween launch, and let’s just say — subtlety wasn’t invited 👻✨. Our glow bar shone green with spiders crawling over it, themed cocktails like Pina Goulada and Dracula’s Daiquiri flowed, and guests feasted on “severed fingers” and cheesecake “brains” in Oreo grave dirt. The backyard was transformed into a glowing graveyard scene, complete with Halloween backdrop, black shimmer wall, and balloon garlands in black, orange, and green. Blood bags filled with spooky cocktails hung from the circle backdrop, and the costumes were next-level: witches, sugar skulls, Harley Quinn and Joker, Medusa, and even P. Diddy with his police escort. It was a night of laughs, scares, and memories — the perfect SweetAz way to launch Halloween 🎃🍸.
